Elan Schefflein joined the firm in 2014. His practice is currently concentrated in the representation of physicians and hospitals in complex malpractice litigation, including high-exposure obstetrical, surgical, failure to diagnose and wrongful death claims.
Prior to joining the firm, Elan was an Assistant District Attorney in Nassau County, New York from 2009 – 2014, including with Special Victims and Organized Crime and Racketeering. His work included trials.
Elan ran long-term investigations, personally tried numerous cases to verdict, including homicide, conducted hundreds of hearings.
